Russound (Booth 900) is taking the custom installation market to higher levels of knowledge and know-how, thanks to its popular Training Education and Certification (TEC) Roadshow.
The 2007 edition of its annual training event, dubbed "All Wired Up University," is designed for and by Russound dealers and installers, and is providing expanded hands-on sales and technical training for attendees, with a more customized curriculum based on previous attendee feedback.
This year, CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation
Association) announced that participation in Russound's TEC Roadshow contributes to installation professionals' Continuing Education Units (CEU), 30 of which must be earned over three years in order to maintain certification status. The Installers Track is worth eight CEU, while the Sales Track is worth three CEU.
In order to provide a more flexible schedule for participants, Russound has extended the TEC Roadshow from one to three days and is doubling the training time for all courses. Each day, three Russound TEC specialists will be training in three classrooms and dealers can now select when they want to attend certain courses. Instead of covering all of RNET product sales and technical courses in an eight-hour session, Russound has allotted eight-hour sessions for all areas. Participants can take design classes, installation classes, sales classes, or a mix of all over the course of three days.

October 2-4, Raleigh, NC
October 23-25, Orlando, FL
