Runco's (Booth 510) Video Xtreme line of new 1080p DLP projectors bring Runco's innovations in 3-chip projector engineering and THX's video certification standards to new heights. Adding to an already spectacular 720p product assortment in the Video Xtreme portfolio, the new VX-22d and VX-44d 1080p models are destined to be industry leaders in three-chip projector performance, features, installation flexibility and screen-filling power.
As the first 1080p HD video display products to achieve THX certification, the new VX-22d and VX-44d have been tested to the rigorous standards outlined in the THX Certified Display program. The THX program promises that HD and standard definition content will be presented with the correct color, luminance levels and video processing capabilities.
Along with THX certification, Runco's Video Xtreme models have been designed for outstanding picture quality through Runco's three-chip implementation of DLP, each chip is dedicated to a specific color--red, green and blue--for superb color spectrum purity. These systems also offer the industry's best black level and contrast performance. Runco has engineered Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) calibration standards into every model for the purest video performance.
"Our Video Xtreme portfolio of three-chip 1080p projectors takes video projection to the next level with dazzling picture quality and extensive options to deliver unprecedented cinematic realism," says Runco President Bob Hana. "These flagship projection systems are designed for true connoisseurs of big screen picture perfection who will accept no compromise."
The VX 1080p three-chip models are offered with numerous configuration options and prices, for a broad and versatile lineup that will easily meet the needs of any high-end installation requirement. For the ultimate in viewing flexibility and enjoyment, each model is available with Runco's exclusive award-winning CineWide and CineWide with AutoScope technology. This ground-breaking option can transform a superb home theater system into a true home cinema experience, reproducing 2.35:1 CinemaScope movies with unparalleled accuracy and full vertical screen image height, eliminating useless black bars.
